Here I am, send me.
This has been my heart’s cry for years. The moment I heard that there were billions of people in the world that don’t know the name of Jesus and not enough people to go share about Him, my heart broke, and I knew my call was to go, wherever, for however long, for the sake of the gospel.
This August, I, along with 35-40 others, will be leaving the United States for 11 months to do just that. We will be going to Central America, Eastern Europe, The Middle East, and Southeast Asia, where we will be building relationships, partnering with ministries and missionaries on the field, and will be sharing the name of Jesus to many!
So why the race? Why now? This year, I asked the Lord to slam every door shut that I wasn’t supposed to go through and to fling open every door I was, and the world race was brought into my mind after years of not thinking about it. I felt the peace of the Lord over my life as I began the process of applying, interviewing, and eventually acceptance. My heart is for the nations and to see the name of Jesus declared all over the world, and by doing the race I get to do that.
I am so overjoyed and excited to be going on the world race this year and I am looking forward to taking you on this journey with me.
